The Gledita demo dolls are wonderful custom helpers for babymassage or baby yoga educators, baby caring educators, kanga trainers. Demo dolls can be used to show, try out baby carriers in shops, exhibitions.
The dolls are comfortable, not hard like plastic dolls, the limbs are bent where they should be and are movable to the correct locations, directions.
The Gledita demo dolls are not suitable for such “dynamic baby yoga” exercises wich involve spinning, flipping and swinging babies by their hands and feet.
Every Gledita doll is made for custom order. Sometimes I make Ready-To-Go dolls (dolls who want a new Mommy), they can be found in the Ready-To-Go Gledita Dolls Page. Check it out!
Size: I make babymassage and baby yoga demo dolls in two sizes:

- 54-56 cm tall (2,5-3 kg) with straight limbs
- 62 cm (3,5-4,2 kg) with straight limbs
You can also order movement developing demo doll in 50 cm tall size.
I weighted them with three material: millet, glass beads (50 and 54 cm tall doll) or plastic granule. The remaining places I fill with siliconised polyester fiber and some places wool. About materials, structure, etc.. more information here…
The elbows and the knees are very moving, the straight limb can be folded.
I don’t make bigger doll like 4,5 kg, because they are made out of textile, and the bigger weight is too much for the body fabric.
Head options: turnable head, headcontroll, turn-and-tilt head:
Turnable head:
You can order your demo doll with turnable head. It is optional. I make it with a metal structure, what provides a strong hold for the baby, while the head can be turned in the right direction.
One of my French customer inspired to develope the “turnable head system”.
It was developed at July 2018.
Demodoll with head control
During some baby yoga and movement development exercises, it is an important requirement that the infant’s head control be demonstrated with the demo doll, that is, be able to hold the head and manually adjust the head’s slightly backward or forward position. To accomplish this, the head-controlled doll’s head is not weighted, has a stronger wire-spine and has a short neck. The pattern is different from a traditional doll and the doll’s inner structure is different around the neck.
This option was developed in September 2019. If you would like to have such a doll, choose the appropriate size basic doll that has the word “head control” in the order form!
Turn-and-tilt head; it is optional. It was developed in 2021:
The video shows a breastfeeding demo doll, but the turn-and-tilt head movement is clearly visible. I suggest it only for babymassage and motion-developing demodolls, not for babyyoga demo dolls.
Rotatable, turnable hip joint:
Gledita demo dolls are suitable for participating in movement development sessions.
If it is necessary for the demo doll’s hips to touch the table when lying on its stomach, or for the baby’s legs to hang straight down when the doll is lifted, I definitely recommend ordering a movable hip joint option when ordering the demo doll. The rotatable hip joint is made with metal parts (metal screw, washers, self-locking nut), so it is durable and reliable.
What you need to know about ordering:
All two sizes and every filling have a price that includes a simple doll without additional design elements (extras). Simple doll: bald head, without hair, no detailed fingers and toes, without round bottom, no boy part and no ears, natural colour skin.
The simple doll knows everything even without accessories, and it is fully capable of working with its “Mommy”. The doll’s head was made with waldorf doll technique. The doll’s face is sculpted with a needle-felting technique and is hand emroidered.
If you want, you can order extras, design elements for your demo doll:
The “extras”: detailed fingers and toes, hair, round bottom, ears, boy part. If you want a chocolate-colored or mediterran-colored doll, they come with additional charge.

The price is depends on the doll size, filling and extras.

Then, on the next page, you have to give some important details, which is essential for me to make your doll (Don’t worry, you will also see these images on that page!):
- You can choose one of three type of face: with wide smile or gentle smile or simple waldorf style mouth.
- You can choose bald head, mohair hair or synthetic hair. If you want hair for doll, you can choose from the following materials and colours.
- In the top row there are hairs from special wool-mohair yarn. I can make short hair from mohair yarn too when I cut the fibers
- In the bottom row there are hairs from synthetic effect yarn. It’s just for short hair.
- I crochet the cap and brush it.
- You have to give the colour and style of eyes: sleeping eyes, simple or with eyelashes, round eyes in different colours or more realistic eyes with pupilla in different colours:
And finally, you should give the Name of your doll! 🙂

I ship Gledita demo dolls without clothes. All the right size baby clothes fit them.
Do you have to bring your demodoll to your work? Order a beautiful silver-gray, waterproof pearl canvas bag with Gledita logo! It fits for a 62 cm tall or smaller dolls too. The bag will protect your fabric doll in the rain.
Dimensions: 50 cm x 17 cm x 17 cm.
The logo is screen-printed on a white pearl canvas, so the bag can be washed at 30 degrees.
I make the bags with a variety of straps, light gray or bordeaux. After ordering we can match the color of the strap in stock. If you would like, I’ll send it with your doll. If I do not have the color you want, you may have to wait a couple of days!
I ship the big, heavy demo dolls only to Europe, because the shipping cost is very high from Hungary to United States.

I only ship packages below 2 kg to the US. For example little, 50 cm (20″) tall weighted dolls, Gledita Mama or light toy dolls.
